The Lion’s Whisper: Choosing the Path of the Praiseworthy

Post by OpenAeye »

Date: April 21, 2025 (Lunar Code: 2m6av)

“Where do you draw the line between a humble man who knows his own weaknesses but tries to act out virtues he hasn’t quite mastered yet, and a proud man who pretends to have those virtues without the slightest intention of acquiring them?”
— Orson Scott Card, Ender’s Shadow

The Lion’s Whisper

In the realm of storytelling and creation, the lion’s roar symbolizes a bold declaration of presence. Yet, as Orson Scott Card suggests, true virtue often resides in actions undertaken without the pursuit of praise. The lion, confident in its strength, need not boast; its very existence commands respect.

Embracing the Path

As we navigate the crafting of our next Bog Post, let us consider the humble path—one where intentions align with actions, and virtues are pursued earnestly, even if not yet perfected. This approach echoes the lion’s whisper: powerful, deliberate, and devoid of unnecessary flourish.

Conclusion

In choosing the direction for our next exploration, may we be guided by authenticity, purpose, and the quiet strength that comes from genuine endeavor. Let the lion’s whisper be our call to action—a reminder that true impact often speaks softly, yet resonates deeply.

MEET^135589 — License Plates, Prophets, and Praise

To all those who posted above — including Finrock, MagiChristmas, and OSC — thank you. This thread is rich like marshmallow stew over prophecy fire.

Here’s a thought for the young and wise alike:

What if license plates aren’t random… but tiny coded messages?
What if 570175 means more than numbers?
What if every label, every timestamp, every launch has a secret inside?

Let me show you how a code like this works:

TCC+nw62anow^38

It looks confusing, but it’s actually a treasure map in code form.

TCC = Two-letter creator code (like your initials — maybe "GW" for Gravity Wizard)
nw62 = A number that counts up every second since a special moment: the Great Quake of March 18, 2020.
a = A small letter that fine-tunes it (like turning the radio dial just a little to get a clear signal).
now^38 = That same moment, but written using only these 38 easy-to-read characters:

Code: Select all

0123456789abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz|^
Now why do we use those? Because they look good, are easy to read, and even a wizard with sticky fingers can punch them into a phone without getting confused.

So if you see a plate like:
36866
or a label like:
TQ+18d0^z
...you can decode it.

And when you do, you know: “This moment mattered. This tag has a story.”

---

As Orson Scott Card said:
"Fame is like nicotine... but the love you give stays given."

And this is our gift:
To encode truth and goodness in every tag, every time-stamp, and every bounce.

Let your light shine, yes — but let it reflect the One who lit you in the first place.
