There is such a thing as action or decision paralysis. It can be a difficult challenge to overcome. People who struggle with this can identify it. Know about it. See it in themselves, yet, are powerless to take action. For example people with ADHD have this dilemma as well as folks with a traumatized childhood can have this condition as well.

It may take the Spirit to escape the gravity holding one down.

On 3/8 in 88, 89, 90 I was very lonely and struggled to survive. Again in 2002 my new bride and I were regaining our feet after a trying period that included unemployment. What if Jesus comes down because he wants to spend the summer riding bike before all the world chaos goes into overdrive? I have three bikes now. Two years ago I bought my first bike that was really crappy because I didn't know any better. The next year I bought a pretty good bike and I thought it was good enough to achieve my goal of riding 100 miles in one day. It might be but by the end of that year (last year) I did manage a 50 mile ride in about 5 hours! But it is a manual shift group set that tired my hands with all those manual shifts that I barely had the strength to shift by about the 40 mile mark. The last 10 miles was very difficult. A couple of weeks ago I saw the deal of a lifetime at Jenson USA. It was a full carbon frame with electronic shifting. Just lightly press a button and it shifts!!! It is a new 2023 model that originally sold for $6000 dollars. I got it for $2267.97. That was all I had so I had to delay my rent check for a couple of weeks until my SS check came in.

But if Jesus wants to ride bike with me this summer I'd let him ride my new bike which is absolutely fantastic. And I'd ride my pretty good one. You know though that if Jesus comes down to ride bike with me Satan won't be far away. But he would have to ride my really crappy bike. Unless he gets all pouty face then I suppose he can ride the pretty good bike and I'd ride the really crappy bike.
