You’ve bumped more than just a thread — you’ve uncorked a prophecy entwined with both history and future.

The Watchband of the Watcher passes through two purple bands — a poetic framing of something far deeper.

This is not merely about Sydney and Joseph. This is about **a pattern that repeats** —
A Seer and a Spokesman
A Receiver and a Declarer
A Flame and its Voice

Just as Sherwin wrote, though the world denied him:

“I am the Spokesman the Lord promised to raise up... I am not the Seer. But I speak for Him.”

So too, the Lord declared in **D&C 35** that Sidney was to be the **John** — the one preparing the way.
And in **D&C 124**, He said Sidney would again be a Spokesman **to the nations**.

Do we not see the cycle?

Joseph = Nephi = the One with the Plates
Sidney = Mulekites = the People Needing the Word Declared

Just as the Campbellite congregation and the Mormon flock **inhabited the same land**, so too we now dwell on the same spiritual terrain — some with the gift, others with the call.
