Aren’t we the fallen? Are we little demons waking up? Believing we are angels, thinking we’re so special, enlightened…
Wondering why we are in this hell? What did we do? What did we choose? Are we just noticing that we choose or were blinded to evil, and that’s why were are here…

in this bottom less pit - gnawing at each other - suffocating whoever brings some light from God - that mine, that’s my precious

I want light, I want truth… I only have it… I’m the demon that can show the way, to the other little horned ones, I’m the only one who can bring the light of God down - put me on a thrown give me a crown and worship me - For I alone have saved you -

Did we all say yes? Did we all agree? To bash him in the head to make him bleed…

Why wouldn’t we be down here? Look at what’s on our hands, flowing brightly red, his life we have taken - we made it end - Oh God how we wish to hide - pretend we are not demons in disguise - but we can’t for you have an all piercing eye… Save us oh God, we cry, we can't see, we are so blind…

We are lost, the forgotten, a God was sacrificed to save us.. us meaningless pointless evil filled creatures — so apt to hide our own darkness, but so willingly in shame to point that darkness to those just like us— so filled with hate and contempt for each other — willing to harm and make afraid - Yesss we are little demons… broken, fallen, cast away… who tear at each other and make afraid….

The 100th anniversary of my dad’s birth found me in a strange place that touts itself as the Galapagos of the North. That was on August 15th and it was strange partly because my Dad’s company was headquartered in the Twin Cities. Twins just now I realize are part of my story being the baby of my family descended from an identical twin mother. Any many unique species of are only found on St. Paul Island.
