In the scriptures when it talks about God 'putting his bow in the cloud', it's the imagery of a warrior putting down his . It's an archery bow, which is why rainbows curve like that.
The idea of the seven individual spirits being combined into a singular weapon (supra`identity) is also found in Isaiah 11, where the seven-fold spirits (of 'counsel', of 'understanding', and so forth - total of 7) proceed out of the Messiah's mouth as a collective weapon that slays the wicked.
The first time God uses Light as a weapon is in the very beginning when He speaks it out of darkness in order to separate the light from dark (like how a sword separates).
In Genesis 1 it's just 'light', whereas post-Flood we see this pattern where 1 - - - - > 7, the singular gets divided into seven (colours ).
There's also a rabbithole of how the seven-fold lights/colours relate to the seven-fold waters/rivers, but idk..
Isaiah 11
2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD... [seven spirits]
15 And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod.
