I'm listening to Nemo the Mormon's review of the SEC scandal and he brought up an interesting question:

What does it take for a general authority to be released?

And I would further add, what does it take for the president of the LDS church to be released? The outline for how this occurs is in their very own canon of scripture. At what point does this happen?
