Logo Creation so I can get some help

Post by Juniper »

First a cool simple font == https://www.fontspace.com/trueno-font-f22345

https://youtu.be/vLTn3mG5J7Y?t=78
Shows how to create a new paragraph style in the Pages app on me Mac Mini. 8-)

When I create BigG style it shows up in ALL CAPS, but the default font styles show up in the dropdown menu in mixed case.

Me BigG font is apparently a second-class citizen.

It's me font, because I utilized advanced to get this far and hope to continue in that vein.

Varicose Veins, but not Pulmonary Artery. 8-) :cool8:

G

Whatever font that is, is pretty close, but i'll first try cutting one radian out of full circle that is five inches in diameter, because that the biggest grid line that automatically numbers itself in Fusion360. Bonus question: What are the first 6 digits of an irrational number that represents one radian? BQ2: What type of numbers are PI and said unnamed number?

Shout out to Autodesk for free start-up type license. ❗

Heavy Exclamation Point is RED. 8-)

Speaking of RED stuff, I'm drinking Hawaiian Punch, because of the cool handle. (insert crackling CB static here)

Also made BigG in Helvetica Neue font after crating BigG style from the default Caption style.

Sorry for it being too big. I tried changing 999 to 380, but no joy was to be had by that manner of manipulation. :(

Me number has noName, so I'll have to manually truncate at six digits.

Me big circle interval is 10% of the bigger diameter.

My desired angle can be represented as a function of Pi, but me preference is to use said truncated rational number.

+28.64785
000000000
-28.64785

Rotate or revolve the line about the center.

Create copy after glitchy situation. :?

Click on the vertical line in the dock to select 'Turn Hiding 0n or 0ff.' (American Style as per a PTP)

support.apple.com wrote: To create a reminder from Apple Mail, follow these steps: 1. In Mac Mail, highlight the subject line of an email and right-click (or Ctrl-Click) on it. 2. In the pop-up menu, choose Share > Reminders. 3. Drag the email from the Mail app onto the Reminders app screen. 4. The subject line of the email will become a reminder entry. 5. An app icon or link will be added to your reminder so that you can get back to the item you created the reminder from, such as a Safari webpage, Mail message, or Maps location. If the app doesn't have a Share button, you can control-click what you want to remember, then choose Share > Reminders.

How to move your part back to the origin. How to fix a downloaded part file or step file. Also, how to work with bodies and components.
March 8 and 18 made me do it. 8-)

Chopped out one radian truncation (57.2957o) in positive and negative angular directions.

Extend vertical from the bottom opening on BigC to create BigG.

It looks identical to my chosen font. ;)

Trying to move the selected line so the bottom of it touches the center to begin a letter W.

But another obstacle stands in my way.

What a pain in me buttocks.

How to turn on Design History in Fusion 360
Autodesk Support, Nov 9, 2022

Issue: You want to turn on Design History, commonly referred to as Timeline, in Fusion 360 to get a timeline to appear at the bottom of the screen.

Possible causes: Design History is disabled by default when importing CAD files from another CAD package. It can be turned on to track changes made to the file. Fusion can be set to begin files with the timeline either enabled or disabled in the Preferences.

Solution: To turn on Design History in Fusion 360:
Navigate to the browser tree.
Right-click on the name of any component.
Click "Capture Design History".

Bodies And Components Fusion 360 | Beginners topic

1) Right click on top of the tree and capture design history.

2) Far right, at the bottom - turn on Component Color Swatch.

3) Save Document.

4) Choose New Component
Refresher as it applies to creating BigG and longW as separate components.

Hobbyists may learn and make use of Fusion360 free, if anyone is interested.

Some CONS of Bodies wrote:
They won’t show up in a parts list, which could be troublesome if you need to create a drawing with all of the parts

Patterned bodies will act independently from their parent. So if you alter one body, you’ll notice the others don’t change. Whereas if they were components the other “parts” would update accordingly
Having a basic understanding of the difference between Bodies and Components leads us to the dubbed Rule #1 from the Fusion 360 forum which is to ALWAYS start your file off with a new component
Creates a new empty component or converts existing bodies to components. When creating an empty component, enter a name and select the parent. When converting bodies, select the bodies to convert. More
. Now Rule #1 was created by the Fusion 360 community on the forums, and the idea is that if you always start with a component, you’ll never be kicking yourself in the foot when your browser tree is messed up because you’re trying to create components after creating your bodies.

Fusion 360 Rule #2
Rule #2 in Fusion 360 is to always rename your bodies, components, sketches, decals, and any other layers in the Fusion 360 browser tree.
I gave you rule #1, so we may as well discuss rule #2, right?

Rule #2 from the Fusion 360 forum is to ALWAYS re-name your components and bodies right after you create them. It’s also a very good idea to get into the habit of re-naming any sketches, decals, or any other layers in your Fusion 360 Browser.

Re-naming “assets” in the Fusion 360 browser will not only help you speed up your workflow, but it will ensure you’re manipulating the correct body or component later down the line
(keyboard shortcut “L”) Creates lines and arcs. Select a start and endpoint to define a line segment. Click and drag the endpoint of a segment to define an arc. More
. Especially as your assembly file gets filled with many parts – components and bodies.

Spoiler!
https://blogs.sas.com/content/iml/2015/04/15/pythagorean-triples-by-angle.html wrote: Apparently there are relatively few long-and-skinny triangles. In this sample, few have angles less than 5 degrees. The smallest angle is 3.47 degrees, which corresponds to the (33, 544, 545) right triangle.
Spoiler works, but can't customize the button text, and it's garish. Ow well the beauty of the solution overrides all concern about that.

inverseTan(opp/adj) 33/544 0.060661764705882 = 3.471409177856778O

Now I see Gravity should proceed forward from the G

While Wizards extends perpendicularly.
If clicking the arrow in the quote block doesn't work there should be a link that does. . . . * . . . . . . . . **

Gravity wrote:I've checked out the image, Gary. The extruded font style looks interesting, especially with the way it's been manipulated to resemble a 3D shape. Can we adapt that style to create unique Gs and Vs for Gravity Wizards Inc?

An extruded font style with a 3D shape could add depth and visual interest to our logo, Gary. I'll explore ways to apply that style to the letters G and W.
