The Lord came to me today

That during these dark times that will come upon us, we must trust in our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the only one that can guide us through the darkness and save us both temporarily and spiritually. Be quick to heed his glorious spirit. He comes to save us.

Do you really believe that there is such power in a name. A sound that we make with our mouths? Only for the sound to be different in every language that is spoken? Don't you yet understand that the truth recorded in the the Bible is not for everyone?

13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

But, we are in a different time now. Now is the time truth can be openly given. Because, even though the truth can be given the following scripture is in effect.

2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Before, in Jesus day the wicked if they knew the truth and how salvation really works could be healed and saved because the time of strong delusion was not yet. Today the wicked can hear the truth but would rather believe the lie. However, there will be a few that hear the truth and are able to recognize it because they will not be under strong delusion.

So what does the word name really signify?

66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

Here seed does not mean progeny. Seed is the seed of:

15:37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
15:38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

Our seed is what is produced within us during our life that enables us to receive a new body. It is the new interface between us and our new body. It takes the place of the soul which is our interface with the body in this creation.

Of the old creation our seed remains. Of the old creation our name also remains. Nothing else remains. Do we remain? And in that question is the meaning of name in this context is revealed. It means our spirit. Our spirit remains. And since we are our spirit it means we remain.

Name therefore means spirit or in Jesus' case it means Spirit with a capital S. Now you can say, "there is no other spirit by wich we can be saved than the Spirit". And having his name named upon us means that he adds his Spirit to us. And since his Spirit grants eternal life we can have eternal life.

I've often wondered why the scriptures say to believe in the name. Other places, where it says to believe in Christ, I can understand. I'm still trying to figure out "the name" stuff - unless saying his name causes devils to flee? (No matter what language you use, the devils know who you are referring to.)
